Operational context. Livestock 3D provides AI-powered 3D imaging and cloud analytics for livestock operations. This policy reflects a U.S.-hosted VULTR environment, primarily U.S.-only production storage, and a customer-first data ownership model.

01Scope and purpose

Livestock 3D Inc. provides an AI-powered 3D imaging and analytics platform used to collect, process, and present livestock intelligence for commercial animal agriculture. This Privacy Policy explains how the Company handles personal information, business contact information, customer account data, platform telemetry, and operational livestock data collected in connection with its services.

This policy is written for website users, customers, prospective customers, integration partners, and other business contacts. It is not intended to create contractual rights beyond those stated in applicable agreements.

02Categories of information collected

  • Business and contact information: names, titles, company names, business email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and correspondence records.
  • Account and authentication information: usernames, hashed credentials, multifactor authentication enrollment data, access logs, user preferences, and administrative permissions.
  • Technical and usage information: IP addresses, browser metadata, device information, diagnostic logs, event timestamps, performance metrics, and security logs.
  • Operational livestock data: 3D imaging outputs, animal identifiers supplied by the customer, weight estimations, body condition indicators, locomotion-related outputs, lane or site identifiers, and associated facility metadata.
  • Commercial information: proposal records, contract records, invoicing information, payment status, and customer support history.

03Sources of information

  • We collect information directly from customers, prospective customers, website forms, support interactions, demonstrations, and contract negotiations.
  • We collect technical and usage information automatically through our website, cloud environment, APIs, device software, and security monitoring tooling.
  • We receive operational livestock data and related business records from customers, authorized integrators, and approved data imports configured by the customer.

04How information is used

  • Service delivery: to operate the platform, provide analytics, process data, maintain customer environments, and generate reports, alerts, and dashboards.
  • Security and reliability: to authenticate users, log activity, monitor system health, investigate anomalies, and maintain business continuity.
  • Customer support and account management: to respond to requests, onboard sites, administer accounts, and manage commercial relationships.
  • Improvement and innovation: to improve product performance, refine algorithms, and evaluate feature quality using customer-authorized, de-identified, or opt-in datasets as applicable.
  • Legal and operational administration: to maintain records, comply with law, defend legal claims, and enforce contractual rights.

05Data ownership and processing position

Customer operational data remains the property of the customer or the party that lawfully provides it to Livestock 3D. Livestock 3D acts primarily as a service provider and processor of customer operational data, subject to contract terms.

Except where expressly authorized in writing, Livestock 3D does not sell customer operational data and does not share it with third parties for unrelated advertising purposes.

06AI training and model development

Livestock 3D may use customer data to improve models for the customer’s own dairy or livestock operation as part of the core service.

Use of customer-originated data for broader model training outside the customer’s own environment is limited to: (a) express contractual opt-in, or (b) de-identified and aggregated datasets that cannot reasonably identify a specific customer, farm, or individual animal set in context.

Where contract language is more restrictive than this policy, the contract controls.

07Disclosure of information

  • Service providers: hosting, security monitoring, analytics infrastructure, identity management, communications, backup, and professional advisers operating under confidentiality obligations.
  • Customer-directed integrations: third-party systems enabled by the customer, such as herd management, RFID, facility management, or other authorized platforms.
  • Legal requirements: courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
  • Corporate transactions: in connection with financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

08Storage location and transfers

Livestock 3D stores production data within the United States. The Company’s primary cloud infrastructure is hosted on VULTR in U.S.-based regions, secondary is Switzerland with AWS if necessary.

Livestock 3D does not intentionally move production customer data outside the United States unless contractually approved or legally required.

09Security safeguards

  • Encryption in transit using industry-standard TLS protections.
  • Access controls based on job responsibility and least-privilege principles.
  • Administrative multifactor authentication for privileged systems.
  • Centralized logging, monitoring, and security review procedures.
  • Controlled change management and backup practices appropriate to a growth-stage software company.

10Retention

Livestock 3D retains data only for as long as needed to deliver services, meet contractual obligations, maintain legitimate business records, and satisfy legal, tax, audit, or dispute-resolution requirements. Specific retention periods may be defined in customer agreements, internal records schedules, or regulatory requirements.

11Rights and choices

  • Account and contact information: business contacts may request access, correction, or updates to account-related information.
  • Customer operational data: customers may request export, deletion, or other handling consistent with contract terms and operational realities, including backup and recovery cycles.
  • Marketing communications: recipients may opt out of non-essential marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting the Company.

12Website cookies and analytics

The Company may use cookies and similar technologies for session management, security, basic website analytics, and user experience optimization. Cookie use may change as the website evolves; the Company may supplement this section with a standalone cookie notice if needed.

13Changes and contact information

Livestock 3D may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by revising the effective date and, where appropriate, by providing notice through the website, contract channels, or customer communications.
